Ultra-Soft, Gooey & Bakery-Perfect
This is a true Cinnabon-inspired recipe: pillowy dough, rich cinnamon-brown sugar filling, and a silky cream-cheese frosting that melts into every swirl.
🧺 INGREDIENTS
🥖 Dough
- 1 cup warm milk (about 40°C / 105°F)
- 2¼ tsp active dry yeast (1 packet)
- ½ cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs (room temperature)
- ⅓ cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 tsp salt
- 4½ cups all-purpose flour (add gradually)
🍯 Cinnamon Filling
- 1 cup brown sugar (packed)
- 2½ tbsp ground cinnamon (Cinnabon is generous!)
- ⅓ cup very soft butter
🧀 Cream Cheese Frosting
- 115 g (4 oz) cream cheese, very soft
- ¼ cup unsalted butter, very soft
- 1½ cups powdered sugar (sifted)
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1–2 tbsp milk or cream (for silky texture)
