This is a true Cinnabon-inspired recipe: pillowy dough, rich cinnamon-brown sugar filling, and a silky cream-cheese frosting that melts into every swirl.

🧺 INGREDIENTS

🥖 Dough

  • 1 cup warm milk (about 40°C / 105°F)
  • 2¼ tsp active dry yeast (1 packet)
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs (room temperature)
  • ⅓ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 4½ cups all-purpose flour (add gradually)

🍯 Cinnamon Filling

  • 1 cup brown sugar (packed)
  • 2½ tbsp ground cinnamon (Cinnabon is generous!)
  • ⅓ cup very soft butter

🧀 Cream Cheese Frosting

  • 115 g (4 oz) cream cheese, very soft
  • ¼ cup unsalted butter, very soft
  • 1½ cups powdered sugar (sifted)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1–2 tbsp milk or cream (for silky texture)
