Step 1: Prepare the Crust
- Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F).
- Mix crushed biscuits with melted butter and sugar.
- Press the mixture firmly into the bottom and sides of a round springform pan.
- Bake for 10 minutes, then set aside to cool.
Step 2: Make the Cream Filling
- In a bowl, beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth.
- Add egg, vanilla extract, and cream.
- Mix gently until creamy and well combined.
- Pour the filling over the cooled crust and smooth the surface.
Step 3: Prepare the Apples
- Wash apples and slice them very thinly (do not peel).
- Place slices in a bowl with lemon juice to prevent browning.
- Sprinkle sugar and cinnamon over the apples and mix gently.
Step 4: Arrange the Apple Rose
- Start from the center of the tart.
- Arrange apple slices in a tight spiral, overlapping slightly.
- Continue outward until the entire surface is covered.
- Press lightly so apples sit nicely in the cream.
Step 5: Bake
- Bake at 180°C (350°F) for 40–45 minutes.
- The apples should be soft and lightly golden.
- Let the tart cool completely before removing from the pan.
Step 6: Glaze (Optional but Beautiful ✨)
- Warm apricot jam with 1 tbsp water.
- Brush gently over apples for a glossy finish.
