CAJUN SHRIMP AND STEAK ALFREDO PASTA

Step 1: Cook the Pasta

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
Cook pasta according to package instructions until al dente.
Reserve ½ cup pasta water, then drain and set aside.

Step 2: Cook the Steak

Season steak with Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper.
Heat olive oil and butter in a skillet over medium-high heat.
Sear steak for 3–4 minutes per side (medium-rare to medium).
Remove from pan, rest 5 minutes, then slice into strips.

Step 3: Cook the Shrimp

In the same pan, add butter.
Season shrimp with Cajun seasoning.
Cook shrimp 1–2 minutes per side until pink and opaque.
Remove and set aside.

Step 4: Make the Alfredo Sauce

Lower heat to medium.
Add butter and garlic to the pan; sauté 30 seconds until fragrant.
Pour in heavy cream and simmer 3–4 minutes.
Stir in Parmesan cheese and Cajun seasoning until smooth and creamy.

Step 5: Combine

Add cooked pasta to the sauce.
Toss gently, adding reserved pasta water if needed for consistency.
Add steak and shrimp back to the pan and mix well.

Step 6: Serve

Taste and adjust seasoning.
Garnish with parsley, Parmesan, and red pepper flakes if desired.
Serve hot.
